I've played Jane's games before and lots of other time management games that include building but this one is really terrible. The levels get harder to the point of it being ridiculous. The problem is that the houses get stuck and won't collect rent which is your only revenue. The time allowed to complete the higher challenges is a joke. You're not playing on a fair field at all. You're playing on an impossible one. If you want to buy a game that makes you nothing but frustrated then this is the one. Otherwise choose Jane's Hotel or Create A Mall or lots of others.
So, what makes this different from the other building management games? You get to furnish the housing, and how well you furnish it and how fast the more you get paid. That is what got my interest, although others may know the game better from Jane's different adventures like Jane's Hotel. So, I guess we'll call it a mini-game. I love when there's extras blended in to the general games one enjoys. I can usually live without the sound on the game, although I always leave enough to hear certain cues like time running out and the storyline. One could easily enjoy listening to music while playing though.
Janes at it again with her successful empire. I love the community development strategy games, and with Jane on the job, you'll love it too!
Another great time management game to my collection. Once I started playing it I just couldn't stop.
This review is on the 60min trial, and I couldn't be bothered after 45mins in. There was so many things in this game that I found unnecessary. The repetitive actions for each level just drove me crazy. I couldn't understand gifting a tenant. Never in my life has my landlord gifted me to keep me happy. This was just annoying. I didn't get a chance to test the other part in the game and even for the daily deal I'm not giving this game my money. I liked the idea of decorating the houses, but you couldn't go back in to redecorate for more rent. If you could I couldn't find it. Would like to see less levels and more time for each of them rather every few minutes starting over again.
For me, I found this game to be very frustrating...timing was awkward...repetitive actions. For this young granny, I'll pass.
I did not play long enough to even see the insides of a house like the demo screen shots show. Unfortunately, I probably never will. The game did not grab my interest. This game is OK to pass the time . . . and that is about all.
Oh no. Spin offs are risky, real risky and unfortunately this did not work for the developers of the Jane series. I love Jane's hotel, 2 and family hero. They were a fun, simplified version of time management games and they were fun in terms of upgrades and difficulty level. This, however, is like a boring Build A Lot, I love the Build A Lot franchise, but for some reason I don't like this. I only liked the upgrading the house and that was highly limited. A disappointment and so was Jane's Realty 2.
